Since June 2010, Eldorado has been using 100% recycled plastic for its bottles, becoming the first U.S. bottled water company to do so. This initiative reduces waste and energy use, cutting energy needs by 77% and greenhouse gas emissions by 58%. Additionally, Eldorado's facility in Louisville, Colorado, uses solar power for 50% of its energy and recycles 96% of its plant waste.
